 Shakira thinks men have forgotten their own desires throughout history. The Colombian singer believe people need to connect with their natural instincts for the benefit of mankind. “I do think libido is the engine of the world. Forward or backwards. For good or ill,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. She added, “Sometimes when we repress our libido we regress. When we were in the Dark Ages, it was a question of humanity somehow managing to forget about itself. “We put God in the centre of society, and people forgot about their own nature and desires. There was a huge deal of repression.”

 Shakira gets inspiration from her instincts to write She Wolf. The singer, whose unique new tune will be released next Monday Nov. 23, learned of the risk of her song but decided to do it either way. "I had to do it. It was an impulse and I usually like to listen to my instincts," She explained to MTV News. "So 'She Wolf' was a surprise." Shakira explains the song came out of the blue. "I was in the studio working on another track. I was in a terrible mood one day and we started working on this idea of a track that we had. "I knew it was a little bit risqué, but I was howling and we had the song." . I think every person in the world has an instinctive and primal aspect. "We belong to the animal kingdom, don't we? The reality there is this irrational part within that always exists and can drive us to places."

 Shakira has confessed she dressed like a boy to attend university. The singer admitted she donned a guy outfit when she went to UCLA in 2005 to avoid being recognized. She told British newspaper The Guardian, "I used to wear a cap and a big backpack, I looked like a boy". "I didn't get recognized. Some people looked at me very suspiciously, a few people asked me, but I told them my name was Isabelle. I would go to university over and over again if I could." Shakira took a short course in history over the summer at the Los Angeles-based university after her lengthy tour ended in May 2007.

 Shakira is having an intense baby fever. The Colombian singer has revealed she can’t wait to have babies with long-time boyfriend Antonio De la Rua as soon as her tour ends. She told the press, “My body feels like it is asking to reproduce, to have a huge belly and carry babies. And when the baby comes, I don’t want to be in the middle of 100,000 projects.” Shakira also explained her oral fixation, “I’ve always lived through my mouth. It’s my biggest source of pleasure: what I say, what I sing, the kisses I give, the chocolate I eat.”
